Our TLB™: Teak Leaves Blend™ is derived from a blend of Indonesian tropical rain forest teak leaves that are processed through all natural decomposition. These exceptional teak leaves are provided in their purest form and are decomposed and dried prior to compression into bales. Teak Leaves Blend is excellent for soil tilth and ideal for amending all soil types. All natural/organic amendments are used in the final production including the Teak Leaves Blend in their purest form. This all natural product contains bat guano and worm castings. Our Teak Leaves Blend can be used in gardens, landscaping, containers and raised beds, for vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers, vines, trees and shrubs.

Directions for use in the garden and landscape: In the garden: Add Teak Leaves Blend to your garden each year in the spring or early summer, before planting. Cultivate the soil to a depth of 5” - 10”, then apply 4” of Teak Leaves Blend on top and cultivate once more to mix.

Top dressing: Container Plantings: During week 2 of growing period, add 1tsp compost mixed with worm castings and/or potting soil as a top layer. During flowering period add 2 tsp mixed with worm castings and/or potting soil in weeks 2 & 5.

For Tea Mix: 1 Tbsp. per gal. weekly during growing period, 2 Tbsp. per gal. weekly during flowering period (weeks 1-6). Use Extractor Bag for best results.

Trees and shrubs: Mix Teak Leaves Blend with soil from the hole dug for planting a tree or shrub. Use a mixture of 1/3 teak leaves to 2/3 soil. Use this mixture to fill the bottom of the hole around the rootball and water.

Mulch: In early summer, spread a 2”- 6” layer of Teak Leaves Blend on the soil around plants and trees. This may help conserve water and protect against soil erosion. When spreading Teak Leaves Blend around trees, start roughly 6” from the trunk outwards to beneath the branch tips. Avoid any direct contact with the trunk.

On the lawn: For new lawns: put 4” - 6” of Teak Leaves Blend on the soil and cultivate to a depth of 5” - 8”. For existing lawns: Apply a thin layer up to a 1/4” of teak leaves on the lawn and water it in well. This can be done year round while reducing watering needs. To fill in patches: Create a mixture of 30% Teak Leaves Blend and 60% top soil and spread a 2”- 4” layer over the patch. Top patch with a 1/4” thick layer of 30% Teak Leaves Blend, 60% top soil, 10% grass seed and keep moist until the new seed has sprouted.
